CEO and President of Hyundai Motor America, John Krafcik, described the passenger side of the Veloster as the "social side." Makes sense, considering your 2 backseat passengers can easily get in and out. A nicely thought out feature, especially when parked on the street.

Ok, so that's what makes the Hyundai Veloster a fun ride. But it also gets points for its performance. Under its dual-scooped hood is a 4-cylinder 1.6L Gasoline Direct Injection engine with Dual-Continuous Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT), giving you 5.88L/100km. With this engine you get to play around with 138 hp and 123 lb-ft of torque.

This new feature allows the driver to be wired in through the use of their Smartphone, In-Car or Web Applications. With Blue Link, the Hyundai Veloster knows where you're heading to, finds you shortcuts and lets you know where the nearest gas stations are. It can even inform you what price they're charging.

Not only is Blue Link convenient, but it's smart too. If a collision is strong enough to deploy an airbag, Blue Link connects you with a trained specialist and is able to provide your exact location. And with an easy app on your smart phone, a toll-free call or through the Blue Link Owner's website, it's super easy to lock, unlock or start your Veloster from pretty much anywhere.
